Veronica has been a special educator for 10 years and is currently a behavior consultant for the Education Service Center –Region 2. Mrs. Treviño provides staff development and coordinated assistance to educators and parents in the area of discipline and behavior management.

She graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi with a B.A. in Special Education/Kinesiology. Veronica later received her MS.Ed in Education Administration. Her professional experience includes teaching middle and high school students with emotional and behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and autism. She has worked with at-risk youth for twenty years, both within and outside the field of education and has experience conducting the Annual Review and Dismissal process and transition planning for students with special needs.
