Welcome!
|
As a Reading Specialist, it is my goal to help students achieve reading success in the classroom and develop reading habits that encourage lifelong learning. I work with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to achieve this goal. My small groups meet daily and focus on the students' specific reading needs. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about your child's reading.

The best way to become a better reader is to READ, READ, READ! My reading groups take a book home for independent reading. It is also important that students choose some of their own reading. Please help your child find fiction and non-fiction books and magazines that are of interest to them. Please be sure to HELP if your child becomes frustrated reading. You can always read with or to your child when they are reading at home. It is also very important to discuss what your child has read. Be sure to ask questions often!!
