This six weeks seems to be a difficult one for my students. They are required to study some at home for tests and complete assignments in a timely manner in class, but they seem to be having some difficulty doing both. We are studying events leading to the American Revolution at the present time. We have just completed Chapter 5 and are currently working on Chapter 6. My students need to be studying the book at home over these chapters. One website that will help them is classzone.com where they can locate our textbook Creating America: Explortation through Reconstruction. There are flip cards, maps, crossword puzzles, and other activities to help them study. We will have a test over Chapters 5 and 6 on Friday, November 4th. This is a C-Scope test, and if they do not study the chapters and the review, they will have a difficult time passing the test. I will send a review home by Monday, October 31st. Please try to get your children to study at home. I am doing all I can to encourage them in the classroom, and I want them to be successful!
