On a more secondary note: As a dedicated writer and fiction fan, I am happy to inform you that I am starting a website to facilitate the imagination and dreams of all children and their families. Being the mother of a 9 year old, I understand how the importance of creative writing and passion for reading can sometime be pushed to the side. Then I had an idea. Kids need a website where they can write and read online, and even work with parents and friends to have fun creating and reading books! I believe there is a way for all of us to collaborate, in our own time, and promote writing and reading in our own children. By pooling our talents to create something wonderful and entertaining, we at www.letswriteabooktogether.com, will watch our children flourish in their writing, making their success possible, promote a reconnection with 2 of the 3 "R's", and help them experience the joy in exchanging points of view on the same ideas and stories in a entertaining and interactive environment. As we work together to build our childrens' abilities , I believe we can encourage personal and group successes, provide inspiration, and reinvigorate the spirit of creativity in our families and communities worldwide.
