Reading at Night!

Sixth grade students should be reading at least thirty minutes nightly at home.  The goal for the year is for each student to read 40 books in several different genres of literature.  Please ask if you have questions or concerns with this goal.  I am here to help your child succeed.

The Fifth Six Weeks
We will be studying and reviewing concepts learned throughout the year.   One major focus is exploring the differnt genres of literature. The students are constantly engulfed in great literature in ELA class.

In Social Studies we will be studying the continent of Asia.  Did you know that the continent of Asia holds almost half of the world's population?
