We have had a good week, very busy though! We do not participate in the STAAR testing but we still work very hard while 3-6th graders are testing. In ELA we have been discussing cause and effect, inferring, conclusions and writing How-To's. In Math we are using non-standard units to measure concrete objects. In Social Studies we compared and contrasted the roles of public officials and we are studying economics. We are participating in our first annual Walk Fit Cub Walk tomorrow morning. We will be walking 1.2 miles to teach our students about good health and exercise! Please remember to bring scrapbooking supplies for our Relay for Life basket. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
