Welcome To Seventh Grade
|
Welcome to a wonderful year in the life of your child! The last time you were this nervous about sending your child off to school was probably first grade. You didn’t know what to expect; you were worried if they would do well, make friends, learn all they needed to be successful, and be happy. The grade may have changed and their size may have changed, but your worries are the same as that far off day seven years ago. Time flies, does it not? As parents ourselves, we understand. As teachers, we have many of the same worries. Our job is to prepare your children for success in reaching their potential during the turbulent teen years. There will be times when you wonder why that happy, easy-going baby disappeared! Don’t worry, we have them right here and will do our best to nurture their academic side as well as the person inside that pre-teen shell. An eight-period day offers a challenge to students and parents. Keeping a homework folder and assignment book helps your child stay on top of things while allowing another avenue of communication between home and school. In addition, it helps if you contact us regarding any questions or concerns. This year will fly, and soon you’ll be sending them off to high school and beyond. Join us in enjoying each day with your child. There will be ups and downs, but never a dull moment as we watch them grow and excel. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to teach your child.
