Parents and Guardians, The middle of year testing has wrapped up and this week Mrs. Braudaway, homeroom teachers and I have reviewed those results. Those planning meetings help us to make decisions about how to insure that every child is reading at or above grade level by the end of the school year. Your child may come home telling you that they have a different reading teacher now. Not to worry, this is a definite planned event! Some students may not have a different reading teacher. Not to worry, this too is a definite planned event! As readers progress throughout the year adjustments are made in their reading groups and teachers plan lessons to address those areas of need.
