My Bio:
|
Patricia McGee is Associate Professor of Digital Learning Design in the Educational Psychology Department of the University of Texas at San Antonio. Director of several technology for teaching grants, she has worked as research faculty through the Office of Naval Research and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (formerly NLII) studying learning objects, issues around distributed learning pedagogy, emerging technologies, and next generation course management systems. Her role as lead editor Course Management Systems for Learning: Beyond Accidental Pedagogy with Colleen Carmean and Ali Jafari has led to continue study of systems and pedagogy that support learning. Currently she is examining pedagogical designs in blended course designs, optional attendance course designs, and wicked problems in online courses. She hosts a wiki that organizes emerging tech into their instructional affordance, see http://elearningtools.wetpaint.com
