Welcome
|
Welcome to Mr. Fryer's classroom I was born in a little town called Colt, located in Arkansas. After graduating from high school I joined the U. S. Army. I served in the Army as a construction engineer for most of my Army career. For 24 of my 26 years my job involved teaching soldiers, most of them just out of high school. So you can see why I like to count those 24 years as teaching experience. While in the Army I earned an associate degree and not being satisfied with that I earned a Bachelor of art degree in Business Administration, all from Columbia College. I retired from the U.S. Army in 1992. During the fall of 1992, I attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor teacher certification program. I graduated from the program in 1993. At that time I received my teacher certification in business. I again attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 2004 for Computer Information Systems. Upon graduating from the CIS program I received teacher certification in Computer Information Systems. I also hold several industry certifications. I have completed the Microsoft Office User Specialist certification consisting of Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. I have also earned certification in Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3). This is my 19th year of teaching high school students at Copperas Cove High School.
