Welcome parents and guests! My name is Drew McConnaughhay and I am one of the four Professional Communication teachers at Copperas Cove High School. This class is required as part of the high school curriculum mandated by the Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills. The course focuses on the importance of communication to each student's future career of choice and assists in the students' development of communication skills. More specifically, students develop communication competence in interpersonal, group, and workplace interaction in order to establish and maintain productive relationships and function effectively in social, academic, and professional roles.
I am excited to work with you and your student in order to develop the future contributors of our society. I teach two periods a day, manage and coach Freshmen Lady Dawg Basketball. My conference period is from 1:55 to 3:25.
