Weclcome to TSDATAE in short, keyboarding.  Recently the Texas State Legislature made some changes to the technology course requirement for high school graduation.  Our district adjusted the course titles to meet those changes but still allow student many opportunities to participate in various technology classes.   The technical name for our course is Touch System Data Entry which follows the almost the same TEKS that were assigned for keyboarding with a few changes.

 

TSDATAE is a 1 semester class in which students will receive a 1/2 of a elective credit toward their high school diploma.  It is followed by a 1 year technology course which will help students meet the technology requirement for high school graduation.
