About Me:
I have over five years of production experience on multiple applications and platforms. Much of my experience has been in video production, but I have extensive knowledge in web design and programming, graphic design, and some animation. During my time in college, I have interned for Emmy award-winning company Pathway Productions, where I learned the basics of how a production house operates. I also worked on a local film and got the opportunity to see how film sets operate. More recently, I have interned at the Indiana State Museum, learning how to develop factual scripts and edit video succinctly to keep a museum visitor interested. In order to put myself through college, I work at the Indianapolis Zoo in the Guest Services department. However, I haven't let this job title keep me from making my own production work. I have developed and produced a training video for the department that I hope to utilize zoo-wide, I created and maintain the department's internal website, and I design many print items such as signage for the department.
Presently, I am a student at IUPUI studying New Media, specializing in video production. Here, I have been exposed to many different forms of media and design. As you will find in my resume, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Science. I am minoring in creative writing, and working on a certificate in applied computer science as well. I was also included in the University College Honors List with “highest honors” for achieving a 3.86 GPA. I am currently the communications coordinator and a founding member for the National Broadcasting Society's IUPUI chapter.
