Many students that are a part of the AMI groups are using several different computer programs to increase their math abilities.  The Success Maker Program has been around for a few years here at Crockett.  Many students are starting the day with this animated problem solving math and reading skills program.  Students in 5th grade will soon be able to also access the science skills to improve their knowledge and increase assessment scores.  Also, available to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade is the Fastt Math Program which increases fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  Another new program this year to the Crockett family is the Destination Math Program which reviews concepts and strategies in the math curriculum.  Students with gaps in learning are able to be retaught skills through this delightful program.  The 6th grade students are able to master the fraction concept with the Fraction Nation Program.  Students are enjoying these motivating programs while working from the mini 10 laptops.  The students at Crockett are achieving great things and they are eager to learn using these up- to- date technology tools. 

I am so excited to get back to school and to get busy working with the students.  This is the most intense time of the school and I hope that we can settle back in to our routines.  Success Maker begins in the morning!  Computer Lab will open at 7:00.  See you there!
