Tutoring: This is offered everyday after school, however students must make arrangements with me prior to that school day ending. If alternate accommodations need to be made please come and speak with me.
My Information: This is my fourth year to teach at Cypress Falls High School. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in History, as well as a Masters in Education from Texas A&M University. I married to my college sweetheart, David, 3 years ago; we were blessed to welcome our daughter, Audrey, to the world in November. David is also a teacher and decided to transfer to Cypress Falls this year, we are pleased to have settled in such a welcoming community.
In the Classroom: This year I plan to allow my students to apply what they are learning in the classroom to economic and political events that are happening around them now. This includes events on a local, national, and global scale. I will achieve this by incorporating current events, discussions, and even blogging into the classroom.
I know that this year is going to be great! I am honored to be teaching the Senior class of 2013, and can't wait to work with these amazing students.
