I have taught at the university, college, high school and jr high levels. My interests are in creating blended environments to support all types of learners.

Research Interests
|
|
Distributed professional learning communities was the subject of my dissertation. This dealt with the learning concept of "connectivism" and 21st century tools for helping a community of learners gain new knowledge and skills without being in proximity to each other.

I love archeology and historical sites and relish meeting new people from many different cultures. Certifications: CPE Provider for Texas, Superintendency, Technology Applications, Instructional Technology, Online Web Instruction Consulting Interests Professional Development in course design/delivery for online learning communities, technical/professional course incorporating case study approach, outcome assessments, portfolio design as a course evaluation tool, evaluation measures for "value-added" learning goals.
