My Bio
Dr. Isbouts is a 30-year veteran of the film and multimedia industry, and an award-winning writer, producer, director and historian. His directorial credits include over 35 programs produced in the United States, Europe and the Middle East starring Leonard Nimoy, Charlton Heston, Sir David Frost, Dick van Dyke and many others.

A graduate of Leyden University with specialties in European art, architecture and music as well as Mediterranean archaeology, Isbouts has published extensively on subjects ranging from Near East archaeology to American cinema. His most recent publications include Charlton Heston’s Hollywood (GoodTimes Publishing, co-authored with Charlton Heston), Discovering Walt Disney (Hyperion Press), the 2007 National Geographic publication The Biblical World, and the 2008 publication of Young Jesus: Restoring the Lost Years of a Social Activist and Religious Dissident (Sterling).

His film credits include Walt: The man Behind the Myth (ABC/Buena Vista); Inside the Cold War with David Frost (History Channel); The Quest for Peace (Hallmark): San Diego Six (NBC);  Beyond the Golden Compass (Koch Entertainment) and the upcoming World War II docu-drama Operation Valkyrie.
