Welcome to Senior English! After graduating from Langham Creek High School, I attended Texas A&M (WHOOP!) where I earned both my Bachelors of Arts and Master of Arts in English, and I am a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2003. While working on my Masters, I had the wonderful opportunity to get to teach at Texas A&M, which has helped me be able to see what skills students graduating from high school need to be successful in college. I also have my teaching certification for secondary history. I began teaching at Kingwood High School on the northeast side of Houston in Humble ISD. During my time there I taught English II Level and English II Pre-AP. Additionally, I loved being one of the sponsors for their chapter of National Honor Society. After five great years at Kingwood, I've moved here to Cy-Lakes to teach English IV and English IV AP/Dual Credit. I love British literature, so this year should be great! I am excited for our year together as we get you ready for life after high school. Cy-Lakes High School is a great place to teach, and I'm truly looking forward to working with all of you! GIG'EM!
