Symphonic Band Sectional Schedule:
Parents,
We have begun sectional rehearsals with the Symphonic Band before and after school. Concert Band students are also encouraged to attend these rehearsals if they are interested in being considered for Symphonic Band in the spring semester. During band class, all the instruments rehearse at the same time which makes it difficult to spend individual time with each instrument. Therefore, we must have rehearsals outside of class to work more individually with all the students. During these rehearsals we will be able to work on music and exercises that are specific to each instrument. This will drastically improve the students' musical skills and will lead to the overall success of the band program.
The sectionals will take place once a week throughout the school year (7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.). The rehearsal is a grade and each student is required to attend. Please make every arrangement necessary to ensure your child will be able to attend each rehearsal. If your child rides the bus after school they may ride the Learning Zone bus home if they have an afternoon sectional. Your cooperation is essential to the success of the Hall Middle School band program!

Monday:
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.: Clarinets
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Flutes and Oboes
Tuesday:
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.: Percussion
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Alto Saxophones
Wednesday:
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.: Trumpets
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: French Horns
Thursday:
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.: Low Brass and Low Reeds
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Make-Ups**
Friday:
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.: Make-Ups**
**Make-up sectionals are for children who either have a medical or academic reason for missing their assigned time or for those children that have extenuating circumstances that have been approved by Mr. Lewis.
