Overview

I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a double major in Computer Information Systems and History. After moving through several jobs, getting married, having two kids, I decided to return to school to acquire a masters degree. A few years ago, I graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Educational Administration. My masters work was a 100% online. It prepared me for the changing world we find ourselves in today. I am a strong believer that online learning is not for everyone, but should be available to all those that want it. I also believe that everyone must be a life long learner. You have to keep learning everyday or you will be left behind. Ask yourself, if your job was gone in two years what are you doing today to prepare yourself for a new one? For me the answer is read blogs daily, watch video podcast daily, and read a new book ever month, and work on emerging technologies to keep my skill sets fresh.
