Hello! I have been an educator for the past twleve years in CFISD. I hold a B.A. in English and in Psychology, along with a Master's degree in Composition and Rhetoric from Texas A & M - Corpus Christi. Currently, I am teaching Advanced Placement/Dual Credit English III and a LSC Bridge to College Success Course at Cypress Lakes High School. I am also the English Department Chair for Cypress Lakes High School. This year, I had the privilege of receiving the honor of CFISD Spotlight Teacher for CLHS. After opening this campus in 2008, I am grateful to still call this campus my home. Also, I have had the opportunity to be an AP Reader both in 2009 and 2011. As a recipient of the AP Fellows Scholarship awarded by The College Board, I was able to attended the AP Summer Institute held at Rice University July 2009. In 2010, I attended the Common Ground Institute at the University of Houston Honors College. I am always looking to improve my teaching skills in any way possible. I love teaching, especially at Cypress Lakes High School!
