The STACI class has been very busy since the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year.  We completed several activities in the unit "All About Me".  We talked about ourselves, our families, our bodies, and the stages of our development.  During the next six weeks, we will be talking about animal life cycles, plant lifecycles, apples and pumpkins.  Various activities will be completed in order for students to demonstrate their understanding of these concepts.     
     We work daily on the students being independent in various activities, having and using a working communication system and on social skills. The homework packets were successful for the first six weeks.  The students earned an ice cream party for bringing back their weekly homework assignments.  We should earn our next party in a couple of weeks.
