Hi! Welcome to Cosmetology! This is my 9th year to teach Cosmetology with Weatherford High School. Before that I taught at Spade High School and International Business College. I received my cosmetology operator license through Abilene Beauty College after I graduated from High School, and received my instructor license through South Plains Beauty College in Lubbock. I received my vocational teaching certification through Wayland Baptist University. I was a hairdresser full and part time for 15 years, before becoming an instructor. I love being a teacher and have been extremely blessed by the students that I get each year!!

Cosmo 2 & Intro to Cosmo - Welcome

Welcome to the 2011/2012 school year with Cosmetology! I will be teaching Cosmo 2 (senior students) and Intro to Cosmo (ninth grade) this year. This year will be a fun and interesting year for you guys!
Cosmo 2 - I am looking forward to a fun & fast final year with my seniors! We have lots to learn in a short amount of time! I am excited about the changes that the TDLR have made this year! We will be working on our state board testing, our Skills USA contests, as well as preparing for an exciting career in the cosmetology industry. Intro - you will be getting your feet wet in this wonderful industry, learning and deciding if Cosmetology is for you. We will be practicing many tasks that are preformed on a daily basis in the salon, as well as digging somewhat into some of the rules, safety and sanitation of a cosmetologist. Be prepared to learn and to have fun in this semester long class!
