ABOUT ME
|
I was born in Brooklyn, New York quite a few years ago. I grew up in Fort Greene Projects in Brooklyn which was only for army veterans when my parents first moved in. The rent was $6 a week. I still marvel at that!
My father was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My mom was born in Forchia, Italy. My dad spoke three languages - Spanish, Italian, and English. Unfortunately, I only learned English.
I received my BA from Hunter College of the City of New York. My MS is from Fordham University in New York.
I've been teaching at the college level for over 30 years. I've been at Broward since 2007. That's when I permanently moved to Florida and gave up the New York noise, traffic, noise, parking meters, noise, alternate side of the street parking, snow, and noise. I love it here. Who wouldn't love perennial sunshine. Besides, everyone here is from Brooklyn......
