Welcome to our 1st Grade webpage!
My name is Courtney Taylor. I am so fortunate to have the pleasure of teaching your child this year! Teaching is my passion and something I truly love! I graduated college from Southwest Texas State University in 1996. This is my 16th year to teach. During this time, I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and GT (K-4th). I cannot imagine ever doing anything else! I am originally from the Houston area. My family moved to Weatherford in June of 2009 due to my husband's job relocating. Although the decision was a hard one to make, it was a wonderful decision that I will never regret! Adjusting to the "country life" has been very easy! My husband and I have two wonderful children! Our daughter, Madison, is in 5th grade and our son, Hudson, is in 2nd grade. Both of our kiddos attend Crockett Elementary. They keep us very busy with sports and school activities!
In addition to our children, we also have 2 dogs named Paco and Roxy. I look forward to a wonderful year teaching your kiddos! Courtney Taylor
