Dean, School of Human and Organizational Development Fielding Graduate University 2112 Santa Barbara Street Santa Barbara, CA 93105 Email: cmcclintock@fielding.edu Professor Emeritus, Cornell University Formerly Professor of Policy Analysis and Management and Associate Dean at Cornell University since 1974, Charles McClintock joined Fielding Graduate University in July 2001 as Dean of its School of Human and Organizational Development. His academic interests focus on new paradigms for graduate education, organizational change, and evaluation of social and health policy. Dean McClintock did his undergraduate study at Occidental College in Los Angeles and earned a Ph.D. in social psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. At Cornell’s College of Human Ecology he was Associate Dean for academic affairs, administration, research, undergraduate and graduate education, as well as New York State relations. In 1997 he received the Distinguished Administration Award from Cornell’s Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta. Dean McClintock held visiting faculty positions at Stanford University’s School of Education and the Department of Psychology at University of California, Santa Cruz. He has published over forty scholarly articles, served as journal reviewer, and been a professional association member and officer representing several social science fields and disciplines including psychology, management, education, public policy, program evaluation, healthcare, agriculture and human sciences. In addition to his teaching and research, he directed policy seminars for New York State legislators in areas such as child abuse prevention, community health, welfare reform, long-term care, and youth development. He has consulted for the United States Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources, numerous federal, state and local government agencies, nonprofits and businesses on organizational change, management, and program evaluation.
