Geometry and Algebra tests next week
|
Hi, In Geometry we will have a test Tuesday December 6/7th over congruent triangles. The geometry book has some additional information in Chapter 4, in addition to the notes from C-scope we did in class. In Algebra we have a test Thursday December 8th over inequalities and systems of inequalities. The algebra book has some additional information in Chapter 6, in addition to the notes we took in class. Have a good week.

District Tests Jan 10 - 13 in Algebra and Geometry

Hi, We are back from a great Holiday Break. Hopefully you and your student had a wondeful time together, resting, enjoying some fun meals, and activities. We are having the MAPS 2 district test in algebra and geometry this week. We gave out a review last week and have been working on it in Algebra. In geometry we will work on the review today and tommorrow in addtion to some work on similarity of triangles. It is good to be back and see my students.

Algebra Test November 15th
|
Hi, In Algebra we will be having a test over the Chapter 5 information we have been working on. This includes slope intercept form of an equation, point slope form of an equation, transformations, and finding slope.

End of the Semester
|
Wow the time has flown by. We are just taking our last tests for this semester. We have been busy in Geometry, P-AP Geometry and Algebra. Your student has been working hard. We have one last semester exam for all classes. Help them focus and refuel. We still have tutoring in the morning and after school. 7:45 till 8:10 and then 3:45 to 4:15. There is also a learning center at the big high school on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Wow the time is flying...progress reports

Hi, The first 3 three weeks has flown by. Progress reports will go out soon. Algebra and Geometry has had a district test over 8th grade objectives. We have had a quiz and many daily assignments. It has been fun gettting to know new students. We will have a great year.

The end of the first six weeks...
|
Algebra covered functions, independent- dependent variables, function notation, and ended with one and two step equations. Geometry ran through point,line,plane, linear functions, perpendicular slope, parallel slope, and has now settled into patterns. We will have a 10 question test over unit 3 c scope the week of October 4th and then on to unit 4 Transformations.
