Engineering, Technology, and Manufacturing
What could be more exciting than creating and manufacturing items that make life better? That is why I consider teaching students the concepts of engineering, technology, and manufacturing a privilege. In my classes, students work with a verity of computer software and equipment to complete design challenges. My educational experiences include degrees from Midwestern and Tarleton State Universities. In addition, my work experiences range from the USAF engineering wing to TXU communications. Thank you for visiting, and if you are a current or future student, I look forward to seeing you in class. Feel free to look around on my web page
CNC Shark
Students click on Share It (look on the left hand side of screen) or look in the "Quick Links" to the right to download the files need to complete the V Carve Pro tutorials. After completing your design, create the tool paths and save as CNC Shark USB either inch or metric tap file, save to jump drive, up load g-code to Shark CNC control panel, secure material, dry run, and if satisfied, machine design. Then be amazed at what CNC Automation can do for you!
Google Sketchup Project
Looking for the handout over the Google Sketchup glider project?  Look in Quick links - shared objects. This handout contains all the information needed to practice designing and modeling a foam glider. Students remember that you will have to come up with your own design. This lesson is only to get you familiar with google sketchup so you can design and present your own glider. You will use G-code and machine your project on the CNC router.
