We have had a very busy week of review over all we have learned this year. Some days were designed as a Q/A Day to clarify skills students had questions about, other days were full of fun games. Students partnered to use their knowledge to scavenger hunt their answers, SCOOT through questions, or Race to the Finish showing their skills. These games build confidence in our students and help them realize how much they have learned in Fourth grade.
Our week ended with issuing Report Cards and a rousing pep rally celebrating our students' accomplishments during the 5th Six Weeks. Fourth grade was proud to win the Spirit Stick for their clever cheer at the end of the pep rally. Way to go!
Next week will be even busier. Students will be taking the STAAR test, Math on Tuesday the 24th, and Reading on Wednesday the 25th. Please look for an orange note your child received earlier this week. This reminder is loaded with important information about this upcoming week and tips to help your child 'shine' on these days.
Our field trip to the Stockyards was a great success and loads of fun. We would like to express a special thanks to all parents who joined us and helped with this trip. We could not have done it without you. PTA, you rock, thank you for making this special day possible.
