Welcome to my second grade website! I am so excited to start the 2011-2012 school year. This will be my 11th year of teaching. I taught 1 year in a behaviorial unit, 2 years in first grade, 7 years in third grade, and now my first year in second grade! I am married to Ryan and have three wonderful kids-Cobe, Kylie, and Baylee. I also have the cutest dog EVER, Sophie the chocolate lab. I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, and act silly with my friends! I love Sonic(diet Dr. Pepper with lime), anything chocolate, scentsy stuff, and mexican food. Reading at home: Please ask your child-What happened in the story or chapter?What was the problem?How was the problem solved?Did you learn any new vocabulary words?
Please make sure you check reading bags every night!! Most likely, they have an assignment for the next day.
PLEASE work on addition/subtraction facts at home! Most of the students know their facts quickly(within 3 seconds) and will be ready to mulitply!
