2nd Six Weeks already??

We have FLOWN through Australia, and are headed for Europe! 6th grade will study the governments, economies and some of the history of our 2nd smallest continent. Science classes are researching the elements that make up our Earth, Oceans, and Atmosphere

My Heros Have Always Been Cowboys!

So far this year we have done many team building activities, set our purpose for being here, and made some new friends.
In Social Studies, we will spend the first 6 weeks reviewing map skills, defining the concept of culture, cultural borrowing, etc. During Celebrate Freedom week we will be looking at our roles as citizens, then we will move into the study of Australia and New Zealand.
Science will prove to be a challenge for all of us as we lay the groundwork for 7th and 8th grade. This 6 weeks will include a study of the Periodic Table and the Elements.
Greetings All! I am so excited to be back in 6th Grade! I will again be teaching Social Studies and Science.
