Outlook is most commonly viewed as the software we use to send and receive email. While it is true that email is the centerpiece of Outlook, the program itself is a powerful Personal Information Management (PIM) system that can help users control their work-week efficiently. Participants will evaluate their current use of the program, will learn concepts and skills, and make adjustments over a period of time to the way they use email.
This course focuses on the four major components of Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA): the Inbox, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes. Concepts learned in this course carry over to almost every email program available in the Web 2.0 environment.
